From The President's Pen
We thank and praise God for His loving kindness and tender mercy, especially over the past four years, as I have served as president of The Baptist Sunday School and Baptist Training Union Congress of Virginia. I encourage the Congress to keep the faith, as God is faithful and keeps His promises. There have been challenges along the way; however, through it all, those challenges have become blessings.
We cannot forget those individuals who have gone to heaven that encouraged us along the way. They bore the burden in the heat of the day and encouraged us to run on a little longer.
We welcome all who share our hopes and dreams for this Congress. When we look at what God has done and is still doing, we give thanks and praise to our Almighty God for the great things being done in our lives and the Congress.
As we continue to teach, train and implement successful development of Christian education in our various churches, we must continue to teach with the expectation of changing lives. It involves all of us working together for one cause, which is Jesus Christ. A special thanks to those individuals who have devoted their time and talents to the Congress over the years.
